Pascal is an industrial designer, graphic consultant and engineering consultant who started his career in Germany, his native country, where he has worked in construction and renovation of historic as well as new buildings. His interest in other cultures and countries brought him to New York City in 1996 where he studied Industrial Design at the world re-known Pratt Institute of Art and Design.
Pascal has freelanced for companies in the advertising industry, interior design, model building as well as wayfinding for corporations across the country. He specialized in providing his vast knowledge of materials and their usability, always pushing the limit on himself and every project he engages in to deliver cutting edge results.
Pascal saw a great opportunity in developing graphics and wayfinding for domestic and international companies and joined Modulex (a signage company owned by LEGO™ Toys, with affiliates all around the globe). Pascal created and executed wayfinding and identification signage for such clients as Ernst & Young, the MTA, Goldman Sachs, American Express, Banco Popular, Lehman Brothers, DASNY, and many other high profile local and international clients.
In his recently extended shop and showroom located in upstate New York, he currently creates custom furniture projects, interior designs as well as restorations of historic buildings. He incorporates his knowledge of green construction methods and sustainability into his designs, materials and finishes.
Besides his skills in woodworking, he works with metal, stone and plaster. Experienced with sculpting and pouring metal for his personal pieces, Pascal has excellent expertise in whatever material he works with.
